Wooden stairs are mostly used in house construction. A wooden stair is cheap and doesn’t have very much weight. Most of the wooden stair is made of the deal. Stairs of the deal are very often faced with carped. If a stair is open and not faced this stair is mostly made out of hardwood like afzelia, mahonie marble, etc.

A stair isn’t just made with boards stacked above each other. There are numerous rules that must be followed when building a staircase. The rise and step, for example, have a minimum and maximum. Also, there is a minimum width on a stair.

The fact that there are rules for a rise and a step is because a staircase needs to have a good course. The rise and the step define the gradient of the stair. And whether a staircase has a good course is determined by its gradient.
A stairwell rise is defined as an upper side step to the next upper side step. The step is defined as “front step until front step.” A rise’s maximum height inside is 210 mm, and its maximum height outside is 200 mm. The minimum step is 170 mm.
