Blanca is a two-story house that showcases a combination of uniqueness, class, sophistication, and aesthetics rolled into one everyone would wish to have. This includes the following features:
- Stone accents around the porch, front of the living room and extended to the second floor level within the staircase
- Aluminum framed glass wall in both floor levels of the staircase
- The client can choose from a concrete roof deck or standard GI roofing
- Unique lighting facilities that surround the whole façade
- Shed type of roofs enclosed by the wood used in the porch and carport
Special attention to exterior details and interior touches gives this relaxed house design a fine distinction that will be eye-catching, which can be built on any street, any location, or any type of land. A bigger house than normal with an average of 108 sq. meters each floor level, this model will require an approximate lot area of 224 sq. meters to accommodate the defined features. Dominant as it is used; stone accents enhanced the exterior of this house complemented with the sensible choice of French type of awning windows.
The staircase opens in front of the covered porch and the living room on the right. The whole staircase is wrapped and framed with glass on two sides that enhance the aesthetic level of the structure apart from the fact that glass offers more natural light and increases the visibility factor. The ground floor bath serves as the main and common divider between the living room, dining room, kitchen, and utility room. With sunny windows throughout and wonderfully open living space, this plan appears to be remarkable. The living room is highlighted with a fixed glass wall and French type windows on two corners inviting better lighting effect and ventilation.
A well-proportioned U-shaped kitchen serves the dining room of eight seats with ease. The utility room offers a space for other household activities which is open on both sides, outside the house, and into the carport. The door connecting to the utility brings ease and comfort in transferring goods and other items from the car to the kitchen. This is also a good walkway for the family members when it’s necessary not to pass on the main entrance thus respecting the function of the great living room. The provision of doors in the kitchen, utility room, and carport clearly allows more functional mobility within the house in performing activities, especially during occasions.
The second-floor level is equally well designed as the ground floor which includes a master’s bedroom and three secondary rooms. The irregularly hexagonal-shaped master’s bedroom is flanked by its own private bath, and the staircase is accessorized by a stepped ceiling, pentagonal shaped bathtub, and wardrobe space. The secondary bedrooms on the other hand are designed with a similar stepped ceiling with special lights; share a common bathroom each with a bathtub and individual walk-in-closets.
The front elevation of this interesting house model exudes balance in terms of design and each side is a complement of the other. The choice of paint exactly matched the materials used in the building. Separate roofs enclosed by wood for the porch and carport deliver a more defined detail and shape for the roof of the whole house. A small garden in front of the living room simply adds a little life and touch of nature.
