In this video, a sample plan is given for the living room and kitchen room with the dimension of 11’3”x9’3” for both. Here, centerline marking is done for 6 numbers of columns. The most crucial part of the marking is to settle the base point. From that base point, a baseline is created with a thread to settle the second point.

For marking, the 3-4-5 method is very vital to layout a perfect angle from a specific point on the baseline.

The method is presented with the following formula

Square Roof (L2 + B2)

From the first point, the mark is created for 4 feet and fixed the for the second point. From that point a mark is created for 5 feet and an arc is marked. Now, the point has been changed to the first point and measurement is created for 3 feet and an arc is marked. Now a point is settled at the intersection point of both the arcs.

Now, from the first point, a thread has been laid with an approx. measurement via the intersection point of both the arcs and the third point is settled. So, an L shaped is developed for marking.

Now the intersection point for both the arcs has been eliminated. Again from the first point, a measurement is taken for 10 feet with a measuring tape and point is fixed. From that point, another measurement is taken for 10 feet. So, the total measuring area becomes 20 feet. Again from the first point measurement is taken for 12 feet and a point is fixed. From this point, measurement is taken for 20 feet and a point is fixed. Again the measuring tape has been tilted and the point has been fixed. So, complete measurements become 32 feet.
